Katherine Applegate is the #1 New York Times-bestselling author of Wishtree, Crenshaw, Willodeen, and Home of the Brave, as well as the early reader Doggo and Pupper trilogy and The One and Only Ivan, winner of the Newbery Medal. She is also co-author, with Gennifer Choldenko, of Dogtown and Mouse and His Dog (a Dogtown book). She lives in Nevada with her family.
