Author Biography

Sophie Piper is the inspiring author of many books for young children, including the Paraclete Press bestseller, My Baptism Book (over 300,000 copies sold), Prayers for Each and Every Day, and Poems & Prayers for Easter. Over the years, she has taken a special interest in writing and compiling books to communicate the themes of love, hope and faith to young children. Her sincere and simple style has given rise to many prayer and gift books. She lives in the Thames Valley, England.

Dubravka Kolanovic was born in Croatia. She studied at Savannah College of Art and Design, and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. For years, she has volunteered in projects for the protection of the environment and animals throughout the world. All her travels and time spent in wonderful parts of the globe, such as the Amazon rainforest, African Savannah, Borneo, the Galapagos Islands, remote Pacific coral reefs, the Arctic and Antarctica are a constant source of inspiration. She illustrated the best-selling My Baptism Book and lives and works in Zadar on the coast of Croatia with her husband, two sons, and a dog.
