Suzanna Klein was a baby when her mother got up early one morning to rob a bank with a group of fellow radicals. Harriet Clark has received fellowships from the Iowa Writers' Workshop and the Wallace Stegner program. She was a Jones Lecturer in Creative Writing at Stanford University and is the winner of the 2023 Paris Review's Plimpton Prize for her short story "Descent." The Hill is her debut novel.
